From Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo International Airport to Punta Pelicano
There is only one road leaving the airport that takes you directly to Highway-Mex. 200. Take this road and head North. You will first pass through Zihatanejo and proceed up the hill towards Ixtapa, veer to the right at the top of the hill toward Lazaro Cardenas and continue north through several small towns for about 16 miles (26 kilometers). The Troncones turnoff is marked by signs on both sides of the highway and approaches quickly. Turn left at the signs and follow the road to the beach. Turn right and before reaching Manzanillo Bay, bear left and follow the road around to Punta Pelicano.
